Kyleigh Hopperstad, LCSW

Licensed Counselor

Hello and welcome!  I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist-Associate (LCAS-A) who works with teens ages 14 and older as well as adults navigating trauma, relationship challenges, anxiety, and life transitions.

I have experience supporting military-connected individuals, first responders, and families facing the unique stressors of military life, occupational demands, and changing family dynamics. My approach is direct, down-to-earth, and collaborative. This creates a space where clients feel safe, heard, and understood while also being encouraged to ask difficult questions, recognize patterns, and take meaningful steps toward change. I am particularly passionate about trauma, attachment, family-of-origin experiences, and the ways past experiences shape present-day relationships and behaviors.

Drawing from evidence-based approaches including CPT, CBT, ACT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness, I will work alongside you to build self-awareness, strengthen a sense of control, establish healthy boundaries, and develop more meaningful relationships with yourself and others. I believe that starting therapy is often the hardest step, but investing in yourself is one of the most worthwhile things you can do. My goal is to help clients recognize their own worth, reconnect with their strengths, and feel empowered to create lasting change.
