Kadesha Thompson, LCMHCA

Licensed Counselor

Hi! My name is Kadesha Thompson. I obtained my Master’s degree, with distinction, in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University in May 2025. I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), International Association for Resilience & Trauma Counseling (IARTC), National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). I have also been both a foster parent and a volunteer for Big Brother Big Sister.

I take a person-centered and behavior-focused approach to therapy with children, adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, interpersonal relationships, family dynamics, and helping clients process grief and loss.

There are many ways to reach the “finish line” in therapy. We will work together to reach your goals. I want to help you develop specific skills to enhance your life mentally and emotionally.

I cannot wait to meet you!
