Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor

Annamarie is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor (LPCS) who brings ten years of experience to her work as a counselor and clinical supervisor. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University's Clinical Counseling program and seeks to create a judgement free environment that promotes vulnerability and courage.

She sees teenagers beginning at age 12 and adults. Her specialties include, but are not limited to, disordered eating, trauma, women's health, high sensitivity, gender and sexuality. She uses a holistic approach that highlights individual strengths, creativity and compassion to develop resilience and create change.

When working with Annamarie, she will draw from acceptance and commitment therapy, mindfulness, art therapy, family systems and other trauma-informed practices. She is *this close* to completing her Certified Eating Disorder Specialist training and is very involved for advocating for compassionate care in this subspecialty.
