COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus)

As we all prepare to protect our most vulnerable populations (the elderly and immunocompromised) from COVID-19, CCC will continue to stay open AND continue offering video online counseling (telehealth) services in lieu of in-person sessions IF NEEDED. We have always offered this service, but it will prove valuable to those in need over the coming weeks and months.

Our cancellation policy remains the same. Appointments not kept or canceled within 48 hours of the appointment time will be subject to our cancellation fee (full service fee). Unlike a doctor who schedules patients every 15 minutes and can easily move on to the "next person in line," therapists prepare to spend an hour with each client and cannot easily fill that spot once it's suddenly vacated. Insurance also does not reimburse for missed appointments. We will forgive all emergency appointments, and utilize telehealth in lieu of in-person sessions if needed. The key is to communicate with us.

If you believe you have been exposed to a virus (any virus), please always use your best judgement. Take care of yourself first and your family/loved ones second. We encourage clients in this circumstance to utilize telehealth so that they can continue their regularly scheduled programming with their therapist here at CCC.

All you need to do in order to use telehealth is to let your therapist know. They will send you a link at the time of your appointment to join the video call. You will need a quiet, confidential space and Internet in order to complete your session from home. All NC insurances have stated they will reimburse for your telehealth sessions over then next 30 days due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Stay Safe. Stay Calm. See you soon!
